August Goals and to do list

I am suffering from the dreaded writers block at the moment but I managed to find something that I would like to share with you. It's a to do list that I have compiled for the month of August, just a few things that I would like to accomplish!
I feel like this year is going by at a rapid rate and each week is getting faster and faster! It's crazy how time flies as you get older!
Anyway, to see what things are on my to do list, keep on reading!

Be more organised!

When I started this blog, I planned on getting out three post a week. Lately this hasn't happened due to just being busy as well as lacking motivation! It's just so grey and cold here at the moment that all I want to do is keep warm with a good book or movie! So I decided that I would get my butt into gear and write myself a schedule for my blog. This includes my three blog posts a week as well as daily posts on Instagram!

Start To Save More

It's getting to that time of year where I have a lot of birthdays to buy presents for as well as getting prepared for Christmas. I also have a few Holidays coming up within the next few months so it would be nice to have some extra cash for that. This means no more spontaneous purchases of things that I don't really need. As a beauty blogger, this is exceptionally hard but I do plan on sticking to this goal!

Exercise More

As we will soon be going into the warmer months here in Australia, there will be no need for the extra layers which means no hiding your body haha! I also suffer anxiety so exercising really helps to control this. With the weather being so cold, it's very un motivating, so haven't really been doing a lot.

Spring Clean

Something that I really hate to do as well as seeming to be a never ending chore is housework! It seems as soon as my house is looking perfect, the kids will come home and change that! I aim to do a big spring clean this month, getting rid of old clothes, furniture and bits and pieces that I have accumulated. I love the end result when it comes to having a good clean out, it's just the starting process that I don't like!

Use Up Old Makeup

As I touched on earlier, I do have a habit of purchasing very unnecessary items. It's funny because I never used to be one for having a lot of makeup or beauty products. But recently I developed an obsession which has led me to this beauty blog! So as part of my goals for this month, I will be using up any foundations, mascaras, or any other beauty related product before I need to purchase anything. I actually have quite a few products, so I will be able to stick to my goal of not purchasing anything this month!

So there is my goals or to do list, let me know what goals and things you would like to accomplish this month!

Thank you for reading xx

Makeup Haul - June 2017

For today's post, I want to share my latest Makeup haul. I bought some really cool products that I have been wanting to try out for ages. These items were purchased from www.discountbeautyboutique which is an Australian company, that have a range of great brands.
If you want to see what I picked up, then keep on reading!

RCMA No Colour Powder
Something that I have heard great things about and been wanting to try for ages is the RCMA No Colour Powder. I have seen so many people use this and say great things about it so I had to get it for myself.
It's a great powder for setting makeup, with there being absolutely no colour to the powder. It's perfect for baking too, working great to set your under eye concealer.
The powder is quite fine, and applies very well and doesn't leave a whit cast like some translucent powders can.
I highly recommend this powder if you are after a perfect setting powder!

Gerard Cosmetics Metal Matte Lip Liquid - Dreamweaver
I am really loving the metallic lip look at the moment and finally picked up my first metallic lip liquid. It's the Gerard Cosmetics Metal Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Dreamweaver.
I love this colour, it's a gorgeous rose gold colour with a metallic matte finish.
This lipstick has long staying power! It goes on very smoothly but can be a little bit dry on your lips. I love the colour, and will definitely be purchasing some other colours in the near future.

Morphe Bristle Shampoo - Cotton Blossom
I am always looking for simple and effective ways to clean my brushes because I love to have lovely clean brushes, but really don't like cleaning them! I purchased the Morphe Bristle Shampoo in the scent Cotton Blossom.
This is such a great product to use. It cleans your brushes so easily and also smelling really nice.
All you do is swish your wet makeup brush around in the shampoo and then lather up and rinse! Really easy and don't forget to rinse the soap after each use, as there can be makeup residue left over.

Milani Strobe Light Glow Powder - Moon Glow
This is one of the best Highlighters I have used. Not only is the packaging simple yet stunning, the highlighter itself is really pigmented. It has such a great colour payoff and a little goes a long way. You can build it up, depending on how 'glowy' you want to look, but I have found that you really don't need to. It has fast become one of my favourite highlighters!

Milani Make it Dewy Setting Spray
Another product from Milani is the Make it Dewy Setting Spray. I was deliberating on wether to get this one or the matte finish one and finally decided on the dewy finish one. It actually has a really nice finish, not too dewy at all. I can get a little oily throughout the day, which is why I was hesitant to pick this up. But after wearing it for a few days, I have found my skin isn't really oily at all.
It prolongs your makeup as well as hydrating your skin and giving you a healthy looking glow.
I really like it and can see myself re purchasing this product.

So that was the items from my latest makeup haul. I am super impressed with all of the products I bought and will most likely be repurchasing them if I need to.

Hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you soon xx

What's in My Makeup bag!

Today I want to share with you current go to makeup products that I basically can't leave the house without. AKA - what's in my makeup bag!

Most of these products are old faves, but there are a few that I have only just started using. So keep on reading to find out "What's in my Makeup Bag".

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation

This is my favourite foundation. I love how it fills my pores and gives me a flawless look. I apply it with my trust Real Techniques makeup sponge, and find it lasts the whole day.

Australis Fresh and Flawless pressed powder

Again, this is one of my all time favourite products. You guys would all know how goo this product is and if you haven't tried it yet then where have you been? It truly is amazing, and easily available online, and in drugstores.

Essence Volume Stylist Mascara

I love this mascara. It add length and definition as well as lasting for ages! It definitely lasts the full 18 hours that it claims, so it great if you need to last for a long time. Best of all, Essence products are so inexpensive!

Covergirl Tru Blend Blush

This is such an amazing blush. I love how pigmented it is and how gorgeous it looks on the skin. It has little to no sheen, and is very easy to apply.

Revlon Lip Ultra HD Lip Laquer

For my lips during the cooler months, I prefer a lipgloss rather than liquid lipstick or anything matte. I absolutely love this one by Revlon. It is the perfect glossy nude shade.

Berries Eyeshadow Palette By BYS

I have a blog post on this amazing palette already, so if you haven't read it, go check it out! It is a great dupe for the ABH modern Renaissance Palette, and a fraction of the cost. It's my go to palette that I use almost everyday at the moment.

So that was all about what's in my makeup bag. Hope you enjoyed reading!

Where I buy my Makeup!

Hi all, I hope you're all having a wonderful day!

For today's post, I wanted to share with you a few of my favourite online beauty stores, where I purchase my makeup from. The items I purchase from these stores, aren't available in Australian drug stores or department stores. These are my three favourite store to buy from, so keep on reading to find out more!

The first one I absolutely love is www.discountbeautyboutique.com.au. This store is an official stockist of Morphe products, Milani, Gerard Cosmetics and also stock a whole range of other amazing brands. I have purchased a few products from here and am so impressed with how fast shipping is! Also, if you spend over $100, you receive free shipping. Such great value for money. A lot of the stock does sell out quite quickly, but the website is regularly updated so you don't miss out. I highly recommend checking this site out if you haven't already.

The next website I want to share is www.adorebeauty.com.au. I love this site, and there are so many gorgeous products to choose from. There is a lot of great skincare products such as Dermalogica, as well as homewares and gifts and of course makeup! I love the range of products that can be purchased from here. When you make a purchase, you also receive a few free samples as well, which is always a lovely little surprise. Definitely check them out if you haven't already!

My other favourite store is www.crystalminx.com.au. I have purchased from this site several times and have been super impressed with delivery times! They stock a range of awesome products, I bought my Too Faced sweet peach palette, and a few other things. They also stock Kylie Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverley Hills and many more awesome brands.

I hope you enjoyed this post. As I said, definitely check these sites out if you haven't already. They are all amazing in their own way and you are sure to find something that will appeal to you.

If you have an online store or website that you love, let me know!

Current Makeup Routine - May 2017

Today I will just be sharing a quick run down of the products I am using regularly for my everyday makeup look. So if you want to see what I use, keep on reading!

Firstly, I always like to start off with a primer. The one I currently use is the BYS Cosmetics primer spray. It's so simple to use and simply sprays on.

After the primer has dried, I will then go in with my foundation. I am using Maybelline Matte and Poreless at the moment. It is one of my favourite foundations, and really helps keeping my skin mattefied through  out the day.

I the go in with concealer, underneath my eyes to highlight. I am using Maybelline Master Conceal, which is a great product for this step. It is so creamy and blends out so well.

I normally use a powder to set the concealer after this step, and my all time favourite is the Australia fresh and Flawless Pressed powder.

The next step is my eyes, and this can sometimes take up alot of time, depending how I am feeling! My current go to palette is my Morphe 35f palette. I love the colours of this palette, and the formulation is smooth and buttery. My colour combination can very each day, and I love having the versatility of all the colours.

I will the go in with a contour, blush and highlight. I find the Maybellline Master contour is the best for this step. It has a great contour colour, and the blush is a lovely soft pink shade. I love the way this blends out to really create a beautiful contoured look.

As for highlighter, I love using my Mary Lou-manizer from the Balm. The best part about this item is a little goes a long way.

For mascara I currently use False Lashes from Essence. This a a great product for the price. Not only does it define the lashes, it also gives them length. I love using essence, they are amazing products for their price.

My lip products will vary from day to day, but I do tend to stick to the more nude lipglosses.

So I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what products you like to use everyday!

Talk to you soon xx

April Favourites

April was a great beauty month for me. I managed to pick up a few awesome products that have since become some of my favourite items. So I will get right into it and show you what I was loving through the month of April.

I have been really good lately and using a primer everyday. My main issue with using a primer is that it is time consuming for me! Most mornings I am in a rush and don't have a lot of time to spare, so a primer sometimes gets skipped. That was until I discovered the BYS Cosmetics primer spray! I love this product, it's so simple and quick to use. Simply spray and leave to dry and you can apply your makeup! It is a great product that is essential in my makeup collection.

My foundation is the Mayelline Matte and Poreless. This is definitely one of my favourites, as I can tend to suffer from oily skin. I love the formulation and the way it applies to my skin, giving it that matte, flawless finish.

For eyeshadow, I am loving the BYS Cosmetics Berries eyeshadow palette. This is a stunning palette that has beautiful warm berry tones that work well with any look. I have reviewed this product in a previous post, which you can view here, so I won'y go into too much more detail. It has been my go to palette for everyday looks this past month and I love it.

I always use a face powder to set my foundation and the one I use is the one I always use. It's the Australis fresh and flawless powder and it will always be one of my favourites. I love the finish it gives your skin, while keeping it matte through out the day.

Finding the right blush is a tough task for me. Most I have don't seem to show up on my skin or look too pink! But the one I use that suits me is the Rimmel Contour Palette. This one is a three in one palette with a contour and highlight shade to compliment the blush. And they do! I use this product everyday, and have found out of my collection, it's the one that works best for me. This is usually the last step for me before I apply a setting spray.

And speaking of setting spray, I have never really used one before I purchased the Models Prefer Setting Spray. I love this product, and love how it keeps my makeup in place throughout the day.

The last product that I want to talk about is the Physicians Formula serum. This is such an amazing product, and I have also talked about this product before, which you can view here. Not mush else to say about this product other that I have noticed a huge difference in my skin since using it.

So that concludes my April favourites, a lot of the products in this post are ones that I always use, or go back to. Let me know what products you are loving at the moment, I would love to know!

Morphe 35f Pallete Review

I have never owned anything from Morphe in the past, and have heard so many good reviews about their products, that I just had to try some for myself! So I recently spoiled myself and bought the 35f palette. I chose this one because I loved the look of the warmer toned shades and thought they would be perfect going into the cooler months of Autumn/winter.

When it finally arrived, I was not disappointed! The colours are even more amazing than I thought, and was very surprised at how easy the shadow is to apply. There are 7 matte shades, and 28 shimmer shades. The matte shades are great for blending and have excellent colour payoff.

The blend ability of the eyeshadow is great. It blends so easy and creates a great smokey eye without too much fuss. There is little to no fallout, with the shadows being very creamy and buttery.

The staying power of the eyeshadow is great. Once applied it will stay on until you want to remove it. I had a full glam smokey eye look that I did a few days ago, and at the end of the day, which was 12 hours or so since application, the eyeshadow still looked as if I had just applied it. But don't forget to apply a primer before hand, to prolong the wearability.

With all the different colours in the palette, there are so many different looks that you can create! You can go from a cute daytime look, to a full glam nighttime look! It is a great versatile palette, that can be used by anyone for anything.

I hope you liked my review, let me know if you have any products from Morphe and what you think of them.

Talk to you soon xx
