Products I am loving - Spring 2017
Hello, welcome back to my blog! In today's post. I want to talk about the products that I am currently loving, so keep on reading to find out what products they are!
With the weather starting to warm up here in Australia, I love to fake tan! My product of choice is always Bondi Sands and I have been using their products for a while now. I use Ultra Dark, and as scary as this sounds, it really isn't! I like to look a little extra bronzed, and it's great because I only need to apply one coat of this to achieve my desired result. I always get complemented on how great my tan looks, which is always lovely to hear! The bast way to apply is by using a tanning mitt, to get a nice even coverage!
Recently Zoella Beauty released a new range of products, and I was super excited to know that they are available in Australia! I tried the shower shake and the bath fizzers and love them both! The scent is just beautiful, and makes your whole bathroom smell amazing. The shower shake is really moisturising and leaves your skin so soft.
I am totally addicted to Kmart, and love the face that they stock one of my favourite brands, BYS Cosmetics. I recently purchased the peach palette to try, I have the Too Faced one as well so wanted to compare the two. I really like it. The colours are lovely and very bendable and pigmented. For only 12 dollars, it's definitely something worth picking up if you love the warmer toned eyeshadows.
When it comes to my eyebrows, I love a really simple routine. My brows are one thing I have to do everyday, and the simpler and quicker that is, the happier I am! I purchased the Maybelline Brow Tattoo recently and it has become my favourite brow product to use. It's such a simple product to use and really effective.
So there's the product that I'm loving at the moment. I hope you enjoyed reading, and stay tuned for more posts coming soon xx

Sukin Pore Refining Facial Scrub Review
In todays post I just want to talk about one of my favourite skincare brands, Sukin. I have been using their products for a while now and absolutely love them. I love this brand because they are made from natural products as well as being Vegan and very affordable.
Sukin have products that suit most skin types, and my favourite product would have to be the Oil Balancing Pore refining facial scrub.
The ingredients in this product include jojoba beads, bamboo charcoal and moringa extract, which work to exfoliate the skin clearing pores of impurities.
Other vitamins include rooibus tea, willowherb and coconut oil which purify and balance the complexion.
With antioxidants like Bilberry extract, white tea, aloe vera, chamomile and cucumber, they all work to calm and soothe your skin. It really is so gentle on your skin.
I use this because it's for oily to combination skin, and after use it doesn't leave your face feeling dry or tight. It also reduces your pores, and leaves your skin with a healthy balanced glow.
The product does have a little bit of texture, which is expected from a scrub but it's very gentle. It's ok to use everyday of you need to, but 2-3 times a week works really well.
This is one product I keep reaching for and repurchasing. Definitely a favourite of mine!
Thank you for reading, stay tuned for regular po

My "No Makeup" makeup look
There are some days when I just cannot be bothered with a full face of makeup, but I still want to apply something to my face to make myself look a little bit more alive!
This is a look that I use daily, especially when mornings can be very busy trying to get the kids ready for school!
So I will share the products I use for those days when I don't do a full face of makeup.
To start off with my base. I still use a foundation, but I apply a light layer and mix it with my favourite face oil. This gives me a gorgeous glow to my skin as well as applying a light coverage.
Onto my brows, and there isn't a day that goes by when I don't use product on my eyebrows. SO for this step I use my favourite eyebrow pencil from Rimmel. This product is super easy to use and applies well giving my brows a lovely full look.
For my eyes, I usually apply a mascara and a light shadow. The eyeshadow will be as close to my skin colour as possible with a slight shimmer.
I don't usually put too much on my cheeks, I just apply a little bronzer. My favourite one at the moment is by Covergirl. It is quite pigmented and a little goes a long way.
Onto my lips, I like to use a gloss and that will be a nude colour. It just keeps the look natural and without making it look like I have full face of makeup on.
So that's basically it for my "No makeup" makeup look. I hope you enjoyed this post.

Winter Beauty Tips
In today's post, I want to talk about how I change my beauty routine a little for the cooler months. Being that it is now winter here in Australia, the balance of my skin has definitely changed. It's a lot dryer than it usually is, and also my hair is suffering the effects of these cooler months! So read on if you would like to know my winter beauty tips!
- For my moisturiser, I have been using an oil. I use the Physicians Formula Argan oil which is so good. It can also be used as a primer and skin brightener. I use this both in the morning and at night and my skin looks and feels great.
- Another tip I have only just found out myself is don't have scalding hot showers or baths! I am really bad at this, I almost have the water as high as it can go! When the water is too hot, it will begin to jeopardise the skin's lupid layer that holds in moisture. To prevent this from happening, reduce the heat of the water or take shorter showers. Also don't forget to moisturise after your shower worn a rich creamy product.
- It's not just your skin that suffers during the cooler months, your hair can also suffer! Heaters can take to moisture out of your hair, causing it to frizz or look dull and lifeless. Using a conditioning mask once a week can really improve your hairs quality, and also a good heat protector before blow drying or straightening really makes a difference!
- Drink plenty of water! This is pretty simple, water helps to replenish the moisture in your skin. And best of all, water costs next to nothing and has no calories so you can drink to your hearts content!
- My last little tip is for your lips. My lips have been very dry during these cooler months so I have been avoiding any matte lip products. I have been using a lipgloss or moisturising lipstick instead. I also have a few lip balms that I carry around in my hand bag. It also pays to pop some on at night in these to help retain moisture in your lips.
I hope these tip were helpful, and if you have any tips you would like to share leave a comment, I would love to know!

April Favourites
April was a great beauty month for me. I managed to pick up a few awesome products that have since become some of my favourite items. So I will get right into it and show you what I was loving through the month of April.
I have been really good lately and using a primer everyday. My main issue with using a primer is that it is time consuming for me! Most mornings I am in a rush and don't have a lot of time to spare, so a primer sometimes gets skipped. That was until I discovered the BYS Cosmetics primer spray! I love this product, it's so simple and quick to use. Simply spray and leave to dry and you can apply your makeup! It is a great product that is essential in my makeup collection.
My foundation is the Mayelline Matte and Poreless. This is definitely one of my favourites, as I can tend to suffer from oily skin. I love the formulation and the way it applies to my skin, giving it that matte, flawless finish.
For eyeshadow, I am loving the BYS Cosmetics Berries eyeshadow palette. This is a stunning palette that has beautiful warm berry tones that work well with any look. I have reviewed this product in a previous post, which you can view here, so I won'y go into too much more detail. It has been my go to palette for everyday looks this past month and I love it.
I always use a face powder to set my foundation and the one I use is the one I always use. It's the Australis fresh and flawless powder and it will always be one of my favourites. I love the finish it gives your skin, while keeping it matte through out the day.
Finding the right blush is a tough task for me. Most I have don't seem to show up on my skin or look too pink! But the one I use that suits me is the Rimmel Contour Palette. This one is a three in one palette with a contour and highlight shade to compliment the blush. And they do! I use this product everyday, and have found out of my collection, it's the one that works best for me. This is usually the last step for me before I apply a setting spray.
And speaking of setting spray, I have never really used one before I purchased the Models Prefer Setting Spray. I love this product, and love how it keeps my makeup in place throughout the day.
The last product that I want to talk about is the Physicians Formula serum. This is such an amazing product, and I have also talked about this product before, which you can view here. Not mush else to say about this product other that I have noticed a huge difference in my skin since using it.
So that concludes my April favourites, a lot of the products in this post are ones that I always use, or go back to. Let me know what products you are loving at the moment, I would love to know!
