Products I am loving - Spring 2017
Hello, welcome back to my blog! In today's post. I want to talk about the products that I am currently loving, so keep on reading to find out what products they are!
With the weather starting to warm up here in Australia, I love to fake tan! My product of choice is always Bondi Sands and I have been using their products for a while now. I use Ultra Dark, and as scary as this sounds, it really isn't! I like to look a little extra bronzed, and it's great because I only need to apply one coat of this to achieve my desired result. I always get complemented on how great my tan looks, which is always lovely to hear! The bast way to apply is by using a tanning mitt, to get a nice even coverage!
Recently Zoella Beauty released a new range of products, and I was super excited to know that they are available in Australia! I tried the shower shake and the bath fizzers and love them both! The scent is just beautiful, and makes your whole bathroom smell amazing. The shower shake is really moisturising and leaves your skin so soft.
I am totally addicted to Kmart, and love the face that they stock one of my favourite brands, BYS Cosmetics. I recently purchased the peach palette to try, I have the Too Faced one as well so wanted to compare the two. I really like it. The colours are lovely and very bendable and pigmented. For only 12 dollars, it's definitely something worth picking up if you love the warmer toned eyeshadows.
When it comes to my eyebrows, I love a really simple routine. My brows are one thing I have to do everyday, and the simpler and quicker that is, the happier I am! I purchased the Maybelline Brow Tattoo recently and it has become my favourite brow product to use. It's such a simple product to use and really effective.
So there's the product that I'm loving at the moment. I hope you enjoyed reading, and stay tuned for more posts coming soon xx

Sukin Pore Refining Facial Scrub Review
In todays post I just want to talk about one of my favourite skincare brands, Sukin. I have been using their products for a while now and absolutely love them. I love this brand because they are made from natural products as well as being Vegan and very affordable.
Sukin have products that suit most skin types, and my favourite product would have to be the Oil Balancing Pore refining facial scrub.
The ingredients in this product include jojoba beads, bamboo charcoal and moringa extract, which work to exfoliate the skin clearing pores of impurities.
Other vitamins include rooibus tea, willowherb and coconut oil which purify and balance the complexion.
With antioxidants like Bilberry extract, white tea, aloe vera, chamomile and cucumber, they all work to calm and soothe your skin. It really is so gentle on your skin.
I use this because it's for oily to combination skin, and after use it doesn't leave your face feeling dry or tight. It also reduces your pores, and leaves your skin with a healthy balanced glow.
The product does have a little bit of texture, which is expected from a scrub but it's very gentle. It's ok to use everyday of you need to, but 2-3 times a week works really well.
This is one product I keep reaching for and repurchasing. Definitely a favourite of mine!
Thank you for reading, stay tuned for regular po

BYS Peach Palette vs Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette
Hello lovelies, I hope you're doing well! I have been a bit MIA over the last month or so, it's just been a bit hectic lately but I am back this week with my regular 3 posts a week.
For today's post, I thought I would do a comparison on two palettes that I have. One is the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, which is a high end product and the other is the BYS Cosmetics Peach Palette.
I will start off with the Too Faced Palette. This is one of my current favourite palettes, with the texture of the shadows so smooth and buttery.
The swatches Top row, Middle row and bottom row.
It's definitely worth the money if you want a quality, easy to blend eyeshadow palette.
The packaging is pretty, I love the peachy, pink colour and it's also quite sturdy. Great if your clumsy like me and prone to dropping things. The eyeshadow is well protected.
The BYS Cosmetics Peach Palette is great for the price. I picked mine up in Kmart for 12 dollars! I was very excited when I saw it, so grabbed it straight away!

The colours are similar to the Too Faced Palette, but with more pinky tones. The colour pigmentation is great, each colour swatches well and are very smooth to apply.
I played around with the palette a few times, and found the colours aren't as easy to blend as the Too Faced palette, but still quite easy to work with.
I really love the colours in this palette, there are warm toned which is great going into spring here in Australia.
In this palette you get 12 colours, where the Too Faced one is 18.
The packaging is similar to the Sweet Peach Palette, with the pink and gold. Very pretty and looks great.
Overall I love both palettes. If you are after a cheaper alternative to the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette, then definitely pick this one up. I use both regularly and love each one.
I'm actually really liking BYS Cosmetics at the moment, their products are amazing!
I hope you enjoyed this post, stay tuned for more regular posts xx

Time to Prime
I never used to be one that would prime my skin before applying my makeup. It never really occurred to me that using a primer not only helps your makeup stay on longer, but also helps the makeup apply better. So for today's post, I would like to share with you some of my favourite primer products.
One I bought because I had heard good things about is the Elf mineral infused Primer. This is a lovely primer and has a very smooth kind of texture. It almost has a silicone feel about it. The only thing I found with this product is my skin will become a little oily, but I use a matte finish foundation and that fixes the problem. I purchased this product from Kmart Australia and it was around thirteen dollars, so quite inexpensive compared to some other products.
Another great primer is from one of my favourite brands, and that is the BYS Cosmetics primer spray. This is such a convenient product, and really gives your skin a perfect base for makeup application. It also dries really quickly.
The next product is one that I don't use as often is by Rimmel, and it's the stay matte primer. This is great for controlling shine, and you can wear it on it's own or before you apply your makeup. It also able to be applied on top of your makeup too, giving you a complete matte finish. It is very lightweight and also minimises the appearance of pores.
The last product is another Rimmel product and relatively new to my collection. It's the Insta Fix and go Primer and setting spray. I don't mind this product at all, and find it really handy to have. It's oil free and dries super quick making it a great product for makeup application.

My "No Makeup" makeup look
There are some days when I just cannot be bothered with a full face of makeup, but I still want to apply something to my face to make myself look a little bit more alive!
This is a look that I use daily, especially when mornings can be very busy trying to get the kids ready for school!
So I will share the products I use for those days when I don't do a full face of makeup.
To start off with my base. I still use a foundation, but I apply a light layer and mix it with my favourite face oil. This gives me a gorgeous glow to my skin as well as applying a light coverage.
Onto my brows, and there isn't a day that goes by when I don't use product on my eyebrows. SO for this step I use my favourite eyebrow pencil from Rimmel. This product is super easy to use and applies well giving my brows a lovely full look.
For my eyes, I usually apply a mascara and a light shadow. The eyeshadow will be as close to my skin colour as possible with a slight shimmer.
I don't usually put too much on my cheeks, I just apply a little bronzer. My favourite one at the moment is by Covergirl. It is quite pigmented and a little goes a long way.
Onto my lips, I like to use a gloss and that will be a nude colour. It just keeps the look natural and without making it look like I have full face of makeup on.
So that's basically it for my "No makeup" makeup look. I hope you enjoyed this post.

My Monday Must Haves - My Guide to Surviving Monday

Poor Monday. Everybody hates her. Wether you have had a super busy weekend, to a chilled out relaxed one, eventually Monday comes back around. This usually means back to school and work for most people.
If you are like me and suffer from the dreaded Mondayitis, then I have a few things that are sure to get you through one of the most difficult days of the week! These are not all beauty related, but in order to look your best, I think you need to feel your best!
Firstly COFFEE COFFEE COFFEE! This is an absolute must have for me and prevents me from being a big grumble guts all day. Coffee helps to refresh you, getting you prepared to tackle whatever comes your way!
I find getting up a little earlier, rather than staying in bed for longer helps too. This avoids the mad rush that can occur when getting up a little later, especially if you have kids to get ready for school!
Music is a great way to get you going. I work from home, so having some background noise on really helps me get going and motivates me to get my work done. Even in your work environment, music can help you power through your day.
If you have a list of things a mile long, then prioritise! There are six other days in the week, and you can only do so much! Sometimes putting something off until the next day can help and makes it easier to cop with Monday. especially if you have had a particularly busy weekend.
Sometimes, preparing things the night before helps too. Getting the kids school bags and uniforms ready, any paperwork that need to be filled out and signed or any other odd jobs that can be done is a big help. This will save you time in the morning so you are not rushing around.
Hopefully these little tips help, just remember we are all in the same boat and Mondays can actually be great!

My Winter Night Time Routine 2017
In today's post, I thought I would share with you my current night time routine for winter. I must admit, I can be quite slack in the skincare routine department, but I try to set aside a time each night to take care of my skin.
I like to light a candle. Sometimes it's a scented one, sometimes it's not. It just depends on how I am
feeling! I just like the ambiance a candle creates, and in these cooler months it just adds a little bit of warmth to any room!
Another thing I like to do is put on are string lights. I really do have an unhealthy obsession with string lights, I have a lot! I think they look so pretty and just give your room a great feel.
So without further ado, here is my current night time skincare routine!

To take off my makeup, I have been using a micellar water from Essano Beauty and have been loving it. It works just as well as the Garnier Micellar water, and is around the same price. I just use a cotton pad and dab some on it and wipe away!
I actually use this even if I don't have any makeup on. I find it just wipes away any impurities that may have built up during the day.
To cleanse my face, I like to use a charcoal infused facial scrub from Sukin. I find this works well if you have oily skin. It leaves your skin so soft and free of any oils. Even if you have more dryer skin this would be great too.
Onto moisturising, I'm not big on a cream product, I prefer to use an oil. At the moment I am using something I picked up in Kmart which was only three dollars! It's a rosehip oil and I find it works so good with my skin. It leaves my pores smaller and my skin so glowy and smooth! For the small amount that it is, it's definitely worth adding to your collection.
Once I have done all this, I like to get into my pyjamas and have some me time. I usually do this by getting in my cosy bed with my iPad, catch up on some of my favourite bloggers and youtube channels. I also like to read, which I usually will find a good book through one of the apps on my iPad.
Before I go to sleep, I spray my bed with the Quiet Night body mist from The body Shop. This product is designed to help you have a better nights sleep. Even though it says body spray, it works just as well by spraying on your bad. It smells amazing and really does work!
One last thing, it's so important to have a good nights sleep. I know this is sometimes easier said than done, but it really does help your skin rejuvenate itself.

Makeup Haul - June 2017
For today's post, I want to share my latest Makeup haul. I bought some really cool products that I have been wanting to try out for ages. These items were purchased from www.discountbeautyboutique which is an Australian company, that have a range of great brands.
If you want to see what I picked up, then keep on reading!
Something that I have heard great things about and been wanting to try for ages is the RCMA No Colour Powder. I have seen so many people use this and say great things about it so I had to get it for myself.
It's a great powder for setting makeup, with there being absolutely no colour to the powder. It's perfect for baking too, working great to set your under eye concealer.
The powder is quite fine, and applies very well and doesn't leave a whit cast like some translucent powders can.
I highly recommend this powder if you are after a perfect setting powder!
I am really loving the metallic lip look at the moment and finally picked up my first metallic lip liquid. It's the Gerard Cosmetics Metal Matte Liquid Lipstick in the shade Dreamweaver.
I love this colour, it's a gorgeous rose gold colour with a metallic matte finish.
This lipstick has long staying power! It goes on very smoothly but can be a little bit dry on your lips. I love the colour, and will definitely be purchasing some other colours in the near future.
I am always looking for simple and effective ways to clean my brushes because I love to have lovely clean brushes, but really don't like cleaning them! I purchased the Morphe Bristle Shampoo in the scent Cotton Blossom.
This is such a great product to use. It cleans your brushes so easily and also smelling really nice.
All you do is swish your wet makeup brush around in the shampoo and then lather up and rinse! Really easy and don't forget to rinse the soap after each use, as there can be makeup residue left over.
This is one of the best Highlighters I have used. Not only is the packaging simple yet stunning, the highlighter itself is really pigmented. It has such a great colour payoff and a little goes a long way. You can build it up, depending on how 'glowy' you want to look, but I have found that you really don't need to. It has fast become one of my favourite highlighters!
Another product from Milani is the Make it Dewy Setting Spray. I was deliberating on wether to get this one or the matte finish one and finally decided on the dewy finish one. It actually has a really nice finish, not too dewy at all. I can get a little oily throughout the day, which is why I was hesitant to pick this up. But after wearing it for a few days, I have found my skin isn't really oily at all.
It prolongs your makeup as well as hydrating your skin and giving you a healthy looking glow.
I really like it and can see myself re purchasing this product.
So that was the items from my latest makeup haul. I am super impressed with all of the products I bought and will most likely be repurchasing them if I need to.
Hope you enjoyed this post and I will talk to you soon xx

Morphe Vegan Pro Brushes 15 Set - Review
For a while now I have been loving my Morphe Brushes. I have heard mixed review when it comes to these brushes, some people love them and some people hate them. however, I really love mine!
I had been wanting to try Morphe brushes for some time, and finally gave in and bought some. After a bit of research, I decided to get the Vegan Pro 15 set. It comes with a really cool leather pouch to store the brushes in which is awesome. The packaging is so simple, the brushes being black with silver detailing and the Morphe logo.
Here is a list of the brushes you get in the set.

My favourite brushes would be the eyeshadow brushes. I use Deluxe Blending and the crease brush the most, and I find they make blending my eyeshadow so easy! The brushes are so soft and fluffy, and also pick up a good amount of product. Of course, it depends on what eyeshadow product you are using, but for the most part they work really well with all products.

The Mini Buffer/Contour brush is actually a great brush to apply my foundation. I love how the top of it is flat, and it makes blending my foundation easy as well as giving me a flawless look.
As for cleaning the brushes, which is a job I hate, but they are very easy to clean.
These brushes are synthetic, so they are completely cruelty free which is why I chose them. They allow you to be able to use powder, liquid and cream products which makes them so versatile.
I would have to say these are my current go to brushes, having not used anything else since getting them.
I hope you enjoyed this post, stay tuned for plenty more content to come xx

My Top 10 Under Ten!
Hi all, welcome back to my blog! I am always on the hunt for inexpensive makeup and beauty items that are also good quality. It's not as hard as it seems though, with plenty of great makeup brands on the lower end of the price scale! In Australia, we pay a lot more fore makeup than those of you in some other countries, so when a nice inexpensive brand or product comes along, we jump on the chance to purchase it!
So in todays post, I will be sharing with you my Top 10 products that are under 10 dollars!
I have been using the recently and I quite like it. It has great coverage and blends out extremely well. Of course, if you feel like you need a little extra coverage it is buildable without looking too heavy or cakey. I really like it!
Makeup Wipes - Kmart $2.00
These wipes are brilliant. I always stock up on these when I go to Kmart, they are great for removing makeup at the end of the day. Also good for the morning when you wake up to remove any dirt or impurities that have built up over night.
Another Essence product, this time a mascara! I have always loved their mascaras and this one is no exception. It adds volume and definition as well as adding length. I really great mascara for the price.
I am obsessed with this primer. I love how simple yet effective it is to use. You simply spray on your face, let it dry and then apply your makeup. It it a great primer for the price and I can't recommend it enough.
Another great product from BYS Cosmetics. This is a matte lipstick that dries to a matte finish but is also very lightweight on your lips. I don't find it drying at all and lasts at least a few hours.
I am a big fan of Elf products and this primer is no exception. It is a stunning primer that blurs your pores, giving you a very smooth palette to apply your makeup.
I love this pencil, it's such a great product. It has a little brush on the lid which is great for neatening up your brows before applying the colour. The product itself is very pigmented and looks very natural once applied.
This product is so good, it gives your brows a little bit of extra colour and definition as well as setting them in place for the day.
I love NYX Blushes, my favourite being the shade Pinched. I think they are great quality and blend out really well. I have a few of these in my collection, and love them.
I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what products you love that are under 10 dollars!
